I've started running the Familiar distribution, http://familiar.handhelds.org, on my TuxScreen.

What I've done so far is to basically untar the task-familiar-complete tar-file on an NFS-mounted directory and chroot to it. I also copied some of the /dev files from the deefault TuxScreen installation over. With that, I was up and RunningX and many other programs from Familiar.

I plan to make some Familiar-based images suitable for installing into flash on the TuxScreen. Busybox will help shrink down the size of Familiar considerably.
